Our Story:
DataFuelED Consulting was founded in 2021 by Loren Campbell. Loren has spent over 20 years in the field of education. He holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from St. Andrews University and a master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Multimedia from Cal Poly, Pomona. He's a graduate of the School Executive Leadership Academy from Queens University of Charlotte and has attended the National Institute for Urban School Leaders at Harvard University.
Loren began his career as an Exceptional Children's teacher at Cottondale Elementary in Cottondale, Fl. He then transitioned to being a second grade teacher before moving to Los Angeles, California to complete his master's degree. While there he designed a site word recognition program for first grade students.
He was accepted into Teach for America during the 2009 school year and moved back east to Charlotte, NC where he would begin his climb to leadership. Loren spent time as a second grade teacher at Statesville Road Elementary, a third grade math teacher at Bruns Academy and eventually being promoted to math facilitator while at Bruns. In the winter of the 2014-2015 school year, Loren received a promotion and become the Assistant Principal at Nations Ford Elementary. Upon his arrival, Nations Ford was one of the worst performing schools in the state of North Carolina due to the consistent low performance. During his tenure as the assistant principal, Loren helped guide the school out of low performing status and exceeded state expectations three years in a row. Because of this, Nations Ford moved from being an "F" rated school to a "C" rated school. Loren was recognized for his accomplishments with another promotion and became the principal of Piney Grove Elementary. Upon his arrival, Loren inherited another low performing school and utilizing sound data driven practices was able to move the school from a "D" rated school to a "C" rated school in his first year. Piney Grove maintained this status until Loren was promoted to a Central Office position in the Office of Accountability.
Loren has been married to his wife Melissa since 2007 and their son Liam was born in 2013.
